Please send me an email titled [Thesis Application]/[Internship Application]/[Guided Research] - The topic you are interested/[Your topic/interest name] to introduce your:
- Motivation (Why you are capable of completing the thesis topic, such as skills, facts, courses taken). Please do NOT use AI to write me 🫠 and try to be compact and concise.
- CV and Transcripts (perhaps your ranking) in English.
You usually have a alias for your TUM email address, as mine, for example, [email protected]. Try to use your official email instead of a random domain.
For Internships Applicants
If you would like to propose a topic that aligns both of our research and engineering interests, we can certainly move forward. (To be honest, this is a filter):
- Please note that submitting a proposal does not guarantee a position.
- While you may use AI to polish your draft, the core ideas must be your own.
- We do not have a strict limit on the number of interns we can take; as long as your proposal is strong and clearly demonstrates your capabilities, you are highly likely to be accepted.
- Accepted interns will have priority for following credits requirements including thesis, intern, guided research, chair running courses, etc.
Feel free to share an only ONE page topic description in PDF to me at least 1 month before your expected warming-up period. You perhaps need consider those factors:
- enough workloads for 360 hours full working time
- feasible for an EE or related bachelor student (doable with some challenge but not to win a Nobel prize😄)
- clear goal and path to that goal.
- you may include title, background, motivation, method, and expected results.
